Decided to put a prologue in (per my last post).

15,000 words into a planned 120,000 words of Crush Depth. Really enjoying it so far.

Had some friends look at the first three chapters. Not all feedback was positive, so I’m probably going to have to cut heavily and pick up the pace a bit. But, I’m not planning to do that until the complete draft is done.

Looking to pick up my pace a little, write about 4,000 words/week (up from 2,000/week right now), but we’ll see how it goes!

Also, I’m going to get The Martian Incident to the Pentagon next month, and I’m working on cleaning up Lag Delay’s prose a little bit. But, with both of those, the development is done. I’m just fine-tuning.

Still not sure what to do with The Europan Deception, and the series it was supposed to start.

Also, I finished my outline for Lunar Derelict, the sequel to Crush Depth! It’s going to be a blast to write.

Going to be a busy April.
