Another month, another plan to not follow!

Writing

The Europan Deception is still at the small press I queried, and I may try another one before fully going down the self-pub route. More to come!

Crush Depth I’m planning to get pretty far into, hopefully go from the current 20,000 words to something like 40-50,000 – roughly halfway through.

I’m planning to start my next short story – a fantasy one with gargoyles! – but might not finish it. I’m also hoping to plan out the 4 short stories I’ll write in 2025, and outline a future book in Lost Remnant, a future Grace Parkowski thriller, and fix my outline for The Apophis Contingency, the sequel to The Europan Deception.

I also plan on having blog posts on PNT (position, navigation, and timing) and how I approach short stories versus novels.

Reading

I’ve been awful about actually following my plan, but for October I plan on reading:

• The Didymus Conspiracy by Jeremy Robinson
• Angel of Vengeance by Douglas Preston & Lincoln Child
• Children of Ruin by Adrian Tchaikovsky
• The Bourne Treachery by Brian Freeman

Video Games

I’ll be finishing Indiana Jones and the Emperor’s Tomb and then starting Call of Duty: Cold War’s campaign – I’ve owned the game for years and never touched it, but I’m feeling some Cold War-era spy action.
