A great month both in my personal/professional life and my writing one!
Lots of blog posts on this; check the book page (click on the title above) to see them all. I wrote 30,000 words this month. I had hoped for about half that but outlining took a lot less time than I had planned and I was incredibly productive with my limited writing time. I love it, it’s capturing the spirit of Lag Delay while being much faster-paced – things happen from the get-go!
In November I’m hoping to get to about 52,000 words – well over halfway done with the outline.
Still at the Pentagon. Likely an early 2026 release with the government shutdown.
Other Projects
The Gliese Vendetta is outlined and I’m starting on Lost Remnant – the planned 4th book in the Grace Parkowski technothriller series. I’m also poking around at Black Sails and Sorcery (the now-titled Pirate Fantasy novel) and have about 6,000 words done after a couple of late-night sessions. I also planned out my next year or so of writing, will do a blog post on that later. In addition, I’m about halfway done with a sci-fi short story that I’m very excited about.
