Shortest month of the year! I got slightly ahead of my yearly plan in January, we’ll see if I’m able to maintain that or if I get behind.

Writing

Planning to get to roughly the halfway point of Crush Depth – Chapter 30 or so – and around the same with Memento Vivere (Chapter 29). I’m deviating a bit from both of their outlines so who knows. Still plan on getting both of their drafts done this year.

I’ll be continuing to edit The Europan Deception. No clue as to how long it’ll take to get through the Pentagon so I’ll just keep poking away at it until it’s cleared, then I’ll set a release date and really jump into proofreading. Hoping that it doesn’t take too long!

I’ll also continue to outline The Apophis Contingency and work on my next short story, tentatively titled “RGB.”

Reading

This month, I plan on reading:

• The Lottery Ticket by Jules Verne
• The Blackcollar by Timothy Zahn
• Defense Protocol by Brian Andrews

Video Games

I’ll be playing Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix on my old Xbox 360, trying to get all of the achievements, and starting Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. I’ll also be playing Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 until my friends get tired of it.
