March 2025 Look Ahead

Looking at my schedule, I might have a pretty productive month ahead, especially from a writing standpoint.

Writing

Going to be doing my final proofread of The Europan Deception and making sure all of my ARC readers have the book and are posting reviews to Goodreads (Amazon won’t be ready until launch). If you haven’t already, sign up here to get a copy. Hoping to stay on track for a May 6 release.

I’ll be working on both Crush Depth and Memento Vivere this month. Current plan has me getting through Chapter 41 of the former and 32 of the latter but we’ll see how the month treats me. I’m spending more time on Crush Depth because of the additional time it’ll take to get me through the Pentagon but if I get stuck I’ll likely work more on my contemporary fantasy.

Hoping to finish my next short, titled “RGB,” this month as well.

Reading

I’ve been doing a lot of ARC reading for some of my writing friends, so my normal novel consumption has been all over the place, let alone trying to stay on top of the short fiction market. But here’s what I want to read in March (a lot of which had been planned for February):

  • The Blackcollar by Timothy Zahn
  • Defense Protocol by Brian Andrews
  • The Serpent’s Eye by Robin Burcell
  • Robur the Conqueror by Jules Verne

Video Games

I’m hoping to finish Indiana Jones and the Great Circle on my Xbox Series S and keep poking away at the achievements for Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix on my Xbox 360 while continuing to play Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 MP and zombies with my gaming group.

Beware the Ides of March!
